Mental Health Awareness Week 14th – 20th May

Mental Health Awareness Week 14th – 20th May

This month we have a huge range of opportunities in the creative wellbeing programme. This year forĀ Mental Health Awareness Week (14-20 May), we’re focusing on stress. Research has shown that two thirds of us experience a mental health problem in our lifetimes, and stress is a key factor in this. By tackling stress, we can go a long way to tackle mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.

We are also celebrating the Fresh Art@ project during Fringe Arts Bath. Come and see us at Bath Artists Studios between 29th May – 8th June. There’ll be free creative taster sessions and the Fresh Art@ exhibition. This project promotes positive wellbeing by engaging with cultural settings and community to create fresh artwork, some of which is donated to enliven clinical NHS environments and is supported by Creativity Works, Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust (AWP), The Holburne Museum, No. 1 Museum, The American Museum and Virgin Care.
