Lend us Your Art!
Fresh Art @ Hillview is looking for original artwork created by artists with experience of mental health issues in the B&NES area for display in the Sycamore Ward at Hillview’s acute psychiatric unit, Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Please submit 1-3 (unframed) pieces for consideration in a ‘People’s Choice’ at Hillview on 6th February 2014. In-patients and staff at Hillview will then choose the pieces they would most like to display in the first exhibition (Feb-April). The selected pieces will be framed and hung in the ward for approximately 2 months at a time. If your piece is not selected this time we encourage all artists to resubmit for the following displays and there will be a display of all work submitted to the project in June 2014.
Please contact Camilla (camilla@creativityworks.org.uk) for a submission form (to include a description of your piece and your contact details to facilitate returning your piece) and submit, along with your art work, either by hand to:
• Ralph at St Mungo’s offices in Bath (The Vaults) on Fri Jan 31st 2014
• Creativity Works offices in Radstock (Leigh House) on Mon 3rd Feb 2014
• Vicky at Hillview (week days between 3-4pm only) on or before Weds 5th Feb 2014
Or by post to:
Camilla Nelson, Creativity Works, Leigh House, 1 Wells Rd, Radstock, BA3 3RN.
N.B. Please make sure all submissions are suitably protectively packaged with clear instructions for storage!
