We are excited to announce that we have taken over the shop window of No. 2 New Bond Street Place, Bath, exhibiting some of the works from our Fresh Art@ Project this year. The exhibition will be on display until the end of January 2021.

Due to the Pandemic we weren’t able to host our usual exhibition and although we have had an online version [see that here], its not quite the same as being able to see the artworks in person.

About the project:
Fresh Art@ is an innovative project which makes a real difference to people’s lives by encouraging social inclusion through art and creativity.

It is a partnership project that creates artwork to enliven NHS environments involving Creativity Works, Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health NHS Partnership Trust (AWP), Virgin Care, Bath Mind, The Holburne Museum, No 1. Royal Crescent, The American Museum, service users, carers, volunteers and local artists.

The 12-week project facilitated by artist Barbara Disney, was carried out in museums and then online this year and the artworks on display have been inspired by the objects and exhibitions on display at the museums.

Everyone involved in Fresh Art@ believes that creativity can make a significant difference to people’s lives by inspiring and supporting them to have fun, be creative, learn new transferable skills, improve health and wellbeing and connect with community opportunities.

The Artists featured in this exhibition are:
  • Sue Mainstone
  • Eleanor Page
  • Maria
  • L.G.
Below is a short film showing the exhibition going up. If you are in Bath, we hope that you’ll be able to take a look at the inspiring exhibition.
