Radstock Jubilee Festival
Banners and flyers have gone up and around Radstock – have you spotted any yet and did you hear Sarah from Creativity Works and Mark from The Natural Theatre Company talking about the festival on Somer Valley FM recently? Not yet? That’s OK as you can listen again here [interview starts at 01.05.58] and keep a look out for the banners….
Come and celebrate this momentous milestone on Saturday 4th June between 11am and 5pm at St Nicholas Church Field in Radstock. Acts announced so far include Treemendous, a massive Iguanodon called Iggy, Mr. Burn with some fire raising shows, plus an opportunity to create some graffiti with artist Silent Hobo. There will also be local stalls, food and have a-go creative workshops during the day.
Take part or simply come and support the Radstock Co-operative Society’s community stage showcasing the very best of our local talented musicians.
For further information on how to get involved in the community stage, to hold a stall or become a festival volunteer please contact Sarah James on sarah@creativityworks.org.uk or ring on 01761 438852. The festival will be themed around stories, histories and memorable characters and events in Radstock and neighbouring areas so please do contact Sarah directly to share these.
For more details including performance schedule, look out for further information in local shops, community centres and across social media using hashtag: #RadstockJubilee2022
We very much look forward to seeing you there!
