What We Do
Here at Creativity Works we believe that the journey or process of creativity really can change lives for the better and inspire and empower people to explore, develop and grow in so many ways.
This is why…
- We run creative activities and courses suitable for those living with mental health challenges or facing difficulties in their lives including BANES Mental Health Creative Support Service
- We support and develop the work of our Artists and socially engaged practitioners, through our Co|Create programme
- We deliver creative commissions, social prescriptions and creative projects:
Throughout our work, we support community groups that grow out of our courses or activities on their journey to self-sustainability and sometimes even to become enterprises in their own right. We also help draw together community events such as the annual World Mental Health Day Celebration in Bath, Family Arts Day and the art|works festival.
You can also learn more about how we work by listening to our media appearances on BBC Radio Bristol below – thank you Radio Bristol!
