We are looking for new Trustees to join our board. Could that be you?

Creativity Works is a thriving arts and health charity, based in Radstock, just south of Bath and we are looking for new Trustees to join our friendly board.

We specialise in delivering outstanding creative projects with communities across Bath, Bristol and Somerset through our artistic practice in Socially Engaged Arts. Projects are targeted at specific communities in areas of Health and Wellbeing, Community Development, and Placemaking, with people of all ages.

We are entering an exciting stage of our development as an Arts Council England funded National Portfolio Organisation [NPO], and we’re in need of certain extra skills on our Board.

We are currently seeking new Trustees with the following skills to help us to achieve our goals:

  • Legal
  • Socially Engaged Artists
  • Accountancy & Financial
  • Business / Enterprise Development

Whilst ideally you’d be a practicing professional, we recognise that as a voluntary role it might be more suited to an active newly retired person. If you are interested in volunteering as a Trustee and have the time and energy to devote to us, we would love to hear from you.

What’s involved:

As a trustee you will be helping the Board to lead a hard-working, creative and dedicated team of staff, steering the way in the effective growth and promotion of this expanding organisation.

Trustees meet 6 times a year for about 2 hours at our offices in Radstock and we encourage engagement in particular areas of work and ongoing projects. For further details about our work visit our website www.creativityworks.org.uk, like us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/CW4everyone) and follow us on Twitter (@CW4everyone).

If you would like to assist our work as a Trustee, or can put us in contact with someone who might be interested, please email Louise Lappin-Cook, our Chairperson via chair@creativityworks.org.uk and enclose a CV outlining your experience.
